Next awarded contracts for two major organisations

Next has been awarded contracts to complete refurbishment projects for two famous and well-known Australian organisations – Campbell Arnott’s and the Rooty Hill RSL Club.

Next’s Managing Director, Joseph Di Girolamo said: “We are proud to work with these two organisations and their team of consultants to deliver these refurbishment projects, which will improve the amenity for both Campbell Arnott’s staff and the Rooty Hill RSL Club members and patrons.”

The projects highlight Next’s refurbishment capability and experience of working in occupied and operating environments. Work on-site has commenced for both projects.

Under a construction management contract, Next will refurbish workplace facilities at Campbell Arnott's corporate headquarters in North Strathfield. The $1.3 million project will involve the construction of a major extension to the headquarters to accommodate a Culinary Centre with its test and demonstration kitchen as well as an upgrade to the staff breakout area. The project is scheduled for completion in June 2016.

The Rooty Hill RSL Club refurbishment project by Altis Architecture and involves the installation of two sets of escalators and associated fitout works. The escalators, each of approximately 12 metres in length, are located at the Club entrance accessed from the car park. The first escalator will be installed from the lower ground floor to the first floor and the second escalator from the ground floor to the first floor.

The associated fitout comprises new joinery, mirrored side panels for the escalator balustrades, suspended planter boxes, 16 feature panels with lighting as well as a new lighting system.

The Rooty Hill RSL Club is among the major clubs in Australia and has over 55,000 members. The project is scheduled for completion in June 2016.
